Milestone: DIY electric Bug approved by TÜV

  • By ivovandenbrink

The Duurza-am Bug, which was converted by Menno Schilder using our Rebbl kit, was tested and approved by Tüv Rheinland according to EU standards (ECER100). This time we did not use RDW facilities for this test, but set up a pilot with Tüv. This is quite a milestone to be honest, up until now we faced the monopoly of the RDW, with costs going through the roof. Nice as well: Menno drove his Bug there, charged to full and drove back again, 160km straight, having 14% left in his batterypack. What a statement.

Rebbl electric oldtimer Bug spotted

  • By ivovandenbrink

Someone spotted green investor Jeroen Meinders near Den Helder, having a great time in his electric convertible. This was Rebbl’s first conversion of an oldtimer Bug. The car is based in Amsterdam, each day dozens of tourists take a picture of this great little electric car.
