Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bites

These perfect “better for you” holiday treat are made with real-food ingredients that tastes like a chocolate truffle. Make these at home or take to your next holiday party to really wow the crowd.



  • 3 tbsp instant oats
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 6 presoaked dates
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • A dash of cinnamon
  • A dash of salt


1. Begin by combining 3 tbsp instant oats, 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut, and 2 tbsp cacao powder in a food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are well combined.

2. Add 6 presoaked dates, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, a dash of cinnamon, and a dash of salt to the mixture in the food processor.

3. Process the ingredients until a sticky dough forms. The dates will add to the natural sweetness and binding of the bliss balls.
